Mandalas

I’ve been experimenting with mandala forms. People often talk about “frequencies” as qualities of forms, i.e. low frequencies are base matter and higher frequencies are spiritual. What about using Fourier transforms to reproduce the image of a form in the frequency domain? And additional benefit is that the frequency representation is automatically centered, and usually symmetrical. I find the result quite amazing.

The following images come in pairs. The left image is the original spatial image. The right image is the Fourier transform. In other words, it represents the same form, but in the frequency domain.
